Jerry Albrikes - Head Professional
Jerry Albrikes is a former New England Men’s Open
Champion (#1 in ‘02-’03). Over the past ten years he has
consistently achieved top New England ranking in men’s singles,
doubles and mixed doubles. He has coached full-time for the past 15
years. Prior to joining Mystic Indoor Tennis Jerry directed the
Tournament Training Center in Trumbull, Connecticut. Following that,
he coached some of the world’s best players at the Nick Bollettieri
Tennis Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
Jerry was
a two-time Connecticut High School State Champion while at St.
Joseph’s in Trumbull, Connecticut. In college he was a four-time
all New England Player for Central Connecticut State University.

Indoor Tennis Jerry’s experience and expertise is incorporated into
programming that benefits both beginners and nationally ranked
players. |

David Crouzet - Tennis Professional
David Crouzet came to
Mystic Indoor Tennis from Shippan Racquet Club in Stamford,
Connecticut where he was a Tennis Professional.
David is a native of France who came to the United States during his
college years. He graduated from the University of Evansville in
Indiana with a Bachelor of Science in business administration.
While at the University he played in the Missoury Valley Conference.
David also holds a Certificate of Academic Excellence in Recreation
Leadership and Tennis Teaching from Tyler Junior College in Texas.
His tennis experience has
brought him a number 1 ranking in the 2000 New England Men’s open
doubles, a number 2 ranking in the NJCAA 2000 men’s national
doubles, and a number 30 ranking in the NJCAA 2000 men’s national
singles
Awards he has received include:
the NJCAA academic All American in the sport of tennis for the year
1999-2000; 2000 Men’s ITA All-America team in 2000; and first team
position on the men’s all-American Division II Tennis Team of the
NJCAA for the year 1999-2000. David is USPTA certified. |

Kabelo Maleka - Tennis Professional
Kabelo Maleka, a
native of South Africa, comes to Mystic Indoor Tennis from three
summers at the internationally recognized Julian Krinsky Camps in
the United States and four years of coaching top-level juniors in
Pretoria, South Africa.
Kabelo was ranked among the top five juniors in South Africa in 2000
and was picked for the South African National Team the same year.
He was chosen for the South African Davis Cup Team in 2001-2002. He
played semi-pro on the ATP tour with a career high of 971 in the
world. Kabelo is USPTA certified.

Steve Rogers - Tennis Professional
Steve Rogers, originally from Waterbury,
Connecticut, comes to Mystic Indoor Tennis from the Simsbury Tennis
House in Simsbury, Connecticut where he was the Director of Junior
Development for five years. Prior to that he was with the Nick
Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Bradenton, Florida, coaching ITF
juniors and professional ATP players.
Steve is a former #6 in New England men’s open singles player, #1
men’s open doubles and #1 mixed open doubles. He was all-conference
and was a national quarterfinalist in the National Junior College
Tournament while attending Mitchell College in New London. Steve is
USPTR certified. |

Jean Paul Gulino - Tennis Professional
Jean Paul Gulino, a
native of France, comes to Mystic from the Tennis Club of Palm
Beach, Florida. Jean Paul attended Northwood University in West
Palm Beach where he played #1 singles. His team was ranked NAIA’s #3
in the nation during his college years.
As a junior Jean Paul played many years on the satellite tour and
was ranked in France’s top 10 at that time. Jean Paul is USPTR
certified. |

Cristelle Fox - Tennis Professional
Cristelle came to
Mystic Indoor Tennis directly from the WTA tour where she achieved a
ranking of 374 in the world. She attended Northwestern University in
Evanston, Illinois where she was a four-time All American in
singles, a three-time All American in doubles and won back-to-back
National Indoor Doubles titles. Cristelle was also named Big 10
Player of the year three times and has the highest winning
percentage in Big 10 history. Cristelle finished her impressive
college career by winning the NCAA doubles championships in Pala
Alto, CA.
Cristelle represented both England and Great Britain internationally,
and has competed in Junior Wimbledon and the Wimbledon qualifying.

Kris Bonkowski - Tennis Professional
Kris Bonkowski comes to Mystic Indoor Tennis from
Groton Long Point Yacht Club where he has taught tennis for four
straight summers. Most recently he was Head Tennis Instructor for the
yacht club.
Kris attended Fitch High School in Groton, Connecticut
where he played #1 singles and was the High School Tennis Team Captain
in 1999 and 2000.
In 2000 Kris was awarded a Fitch High School MVP in Tennis. He was
ranked in the top 10 in the Eastern Connecticut Conference and won the
2000 Eastern Conference Sportsmanship award the same year.
